In 1998, Classic Pens Incorporated, a full subsidiary of Classic Pens Limited, was formed in Los Angeles, California. Its primary objective is to satisfy demand for Classic Pens products and offer an efficient service to the American market.
Through the steady stream of business, the company was able to establish a strong reputation and clientele. Andreas Lambrou, the president, developed working relationships with craftsmen, artists and pen enthusiasts that gave birth to new and exciting products such as the LS Collection of Maki-E Art Pens.
Classic Pens LB2 Kimono
In 2003, Classic Pens Inc launched its LB collection. The name is derived from the surnames Lambrou and Brown, the two founders of Classic Pens Limited. The pens of these exclusive editions will be hand crafted using a wide variety of quality materials and techniques.
The LB1 Nagahara was the result of a fruitful working relationship between Classic Pens and the Sailor Pen Company in Japan. It comprises just 100 fountain pens, hand crafted from the highest quality acrylic. The pens are mounted with a choice of the two most exclusive and highly acclaimed Sailor nibs, the hand crafted Naginata Cross Emperor and the hand tuned Naginata Togi.

The second LB series was launched in 2006. The LB2 Kimono Shinrin (Forest) & Sakyu (Desert) Maki-E Art Pens is the fruit of a long standing working relationship between Andreas Lambrou, Masa Sunami and the celebrated Maki-E artist Tatsuya Tōdō. Lambrou and Sunami have been friends and collaborators for more than 20 years. Since 2001, Tatsuya Tōdō has worked on several projects for Classic Pens.
The LB2 Kimono series comprises 100 fountain pen duets in complimentary colors. The canvas for the Maki-E work is the Parker Duofold Centennial. The series is official and strengthens the long and positive working relationship between Parker and Classic Pens, a relationship which started in 1987.

The LB2 Kimono series reflects the Classic Pens policy of devising new and original designs, through which writing instruments transcend their function and become objects of beauty as precious as jewelry as well as future heirlooms.
In 2007, the company announced its LB3 Jupiter series. This exquisite design, is an inlay work of the planet, its four main moons and the heavens at night. It is handcrafted by the famous and respected artist Paul Rossi, exclusively for Classic Pens. The canvas for this unique design introduces the Legend™ pen. The Legend™ is a Classic Pens trademark, the pen model is the very first developed and produced by the company. It marks a new beginning and celebrates the Twentieth Anniversary of Classic Pens.
The acrylic materials used for the LB3 pen model are of the highest quality. They are manufactured in England, through diffusion bonding, exclusively for Classic Pens. There are two pearl finishes in Flame Red and Space Blue.
Classic Pens LB3 Jupiter
The LB3 Jupiter consists of inlaying both acrylic materials and precious metals into the cap and barrel. The planet is represented in Flame Red with its four orbiting moons in white and blue acrylics. There are 21 stars in 18K solid gold, inlaid in three constellation formations. Smaller sterling silver stars are inlaid artistically by Paul Rossi to complete the handcrafted design. The series comprises 100 pens world-wide.
The fourth LB series was launched in 2008. The LB4 Tahiti Maki-E Art Pens are the fruit of the positive working relationship between Andreas Lambrou, Masa Sunami and the celebrated Maki-E artist Tatsuya Tōdō. This is the same team who created the successful LB2 Kimono Shinrin (Forest) and Sakyu (Desert) Maki-E Art Pens in 2006.
The LB4 pen is a portrait of nature scenes found on the paradise island of Tahiti in French Polynesia. It displays the beautiful flowers of red hibiscus and fragrant tiare as well as palm tree leaves which adorn the island, surrounded by the clear blue sky and pristine Pacific Ocean. The playing dolphins and turtles on the beach are popular sights on Tahiti and complete the composition.
